Shows a single-masted boat on the waters of Lake Wakatipu with a range of mountains in the background, probably the Remarkables.
The date written on this watercolour is unclear. The last digit could be a 0 or an 8; therefore, since the date on the painting overleaf is clear, both works have been given the date 1884
