Illustration for a packet of Hudson's confectionery shows a young woman dressed in Egyptian dress, holding a chocolate from the open box she has on her lap. Behind her are tall-stemmed lotus flowers, a sphinx on a pedestal and two pyramids in the distance.
Dated before 1930 when the firm of R Hudson merged with Cadbury Bros and became know as Cadbury, Fry, and Hudson, Ltd.
Hudson's used the brand name Planet for its flour-based products, produced at the Planet Roller Mills, in the 1890s, especially around 1894-1895 (See advertisements in Papers Past)
