Shows a head-and-shoulders portrait of an unidentified young Polynesian woman, possibly Hawaiian, shown in clothing of about the 1860s. She wears a decorative choker with matching earrings, and her black hair is coiffed in long, attractive curls. She wears roses in her hair and at the breast, and has on a red dress with a white petticoat showing at the neckline
