Poster shows words superimposed on a black and white photograph of an air pilot standing on the wing of a war plane (probably a Curtiss P-40 "Tomahawk" or the later "Warhawk" of 1942) beside a palm tree on a Pacific island. The title words are in black, white and red.
A cinderella of the same design was issued in 1940 (information retrieved 12 May 2016 from Complete Stamp Company sales catalogue, 23 May 2016, lot 588.
