Barraud, Charles Decimus, 1822-1897 :[River Valley]. 1856.

Shows a curve in a river, possibly the Rangitikei, or the Upper Hutt river. There is a road at the right, with two horsemen riding along on a more distant stretch. There are two distinctive branches sticking up out of the river bed in the foreground.
