Shows an actress wearing ornate costume with a large hat and lacy parasol. On either side are advertisements for: Te Aro House dressmaker, Madame French (late of Marshal and Snellgrove, London), C A Turner (ladies' and children's hairdresser), Black Swan butter, and "Seccotine" for repair of leather, glass, brass, wood, etc, (available from Baxter, Stevens & Co, Cuba Street Extension)
