Group alongside a triumphal arch in Lyttelton, during the visit of the Duke of Edinburgh in April 1869. A sign on the arch reads: "God bless Prince Alfred". Shows a (guard of honour?) holding oars and flags on the left, and a crowd on the right. Ship masts are in the background. Photograph taken by Daniel Louis Mundy on the 22nd of April, 1869.
