Description

Male staff members and one woman assembled along tables in an office interior, James Smith Limited.

James Smith Ltd moved into an Edwardian building on the corner of Manners and Cuba Streets in 1921. This was remodled in a fashionable "art deco" style in 1932. In 1934 this building was substantially added to along Manners Street in a matching style. This interior, if it is in James Smith Ltd premises, belongs to one or other of the remodlings.
