Landscapes mostly show the route from Porter's Pass, past Mount William, through the Bealey Valley, Arthur's Pass, the Ragged Range, Otira Gorge, Orari Gorge, the Rakaia River, and views of Mount Cook (Aoraki) and Mount Sefton.

Several photographs show winter scenes in the Alford Forest, followed by summer scenes in the forest.
