Soldiers of the Maori Battalion moving into line in the Faenza sector, Italy, during World War II. Includes Jack Love (foreground, right), Hapurona Rangi (walking behind Love), and Ned Nathan (beside Love, on his left). Photograph taken by George Kaye on 16 December 1944.

Other - Note on back of file print from Library client reads "Ned Nathan - centre front row - was wounded in Crete, so possibly, this is is not Italy, but Crete..."
