Description

Houses, house interiors, and furniture. Many of these may be views of Einhorn's own house. Phtographs of individual items of furniture include two coffee tables, one with a tiled top, and one with a top of green marble. Another piece of furniture is a desk-bookcase-storage unit designed by Einhorn in Germany in 1936. There are also photographs of a garden that may also be Einhorn's own. Photographs of modern houses include the "Lipson bach" photographed in 1984 as well as a number of other unidentified houses, and sometimes, their gardens.

One photograph shows Einhorn at work setting up an exhibition of models of new Government office buildings, ca 1960s.

About a quarter of the album is filled with photocopies of drawings for architectural projects designed by Einhorn in Germany in about 1936. One dated 1936 is a plan for a section of public housing including a drawing of a proposed house. This is very like the state housing projects in New Zealand. Other images include views of houses in Thorndon, and what are probably student work be Einhorn. Three are shaded pencil drawings of views of buildings, and one is a decorative rosette modled in clay, 1930s.
