Description

Marquetry inlaid wood covers with a tree fern in a landscape on the front cover and an arrangement of ferns on the back. Both front and back are surrounded by decorative borders. Contains pressed ferns in artistic arrangements, and a sepia photograph of Tarau Creek, Thames.

Transfers: Formerly in the New Zealand and Pacific Book Collection at accession number 151,556, catalogued as 'New Zealand ferns, ca 1890' at f587.309931/NEW/[ca 1890]. The catalogue card had no reference to Seuffert.
