Shows a view from a point on a rocky shore, across a strech of water towards the buildings and wharf at Port Ahuriri. At the left, there is a seawall along the shore, and single storey buildings towards the wharf. A steamer proceeds towards the shore, and several gulls fly over the water in the foreground.
