The wash out of the wharf at Westport in 1871 showing the houses being shifted further into the town; and shops on Palmerston Street including R Rowlands tent and sailmaker, Professor Dupuis barbers, a stationers and a plumbers with some men and women standing outside the barbers. Photographer was Daniel Maloney.
