Map of land blocks between the Maraekakahu and Manganuku Rivers, mainly showing Donald McLean's freehold farm blocks or runs including the boundaries, and four blocks of Crown Land. Adjoining farm blocks or runs include the names of Ettrick McLean, H.W.P. Smith, Lyon and Mason. Sites of the houses of Capt. McLean and A. McLean are marked. Roads are marked from Kereru to Napier. A note along the top of the map states that 'The 10/- land (application No. 1991) is coloured purple. The 5/- land (application No. ...) is coloured green'.
