Photographs taken by Walter Buller in 1895 of a trip to Subantarctic islands off New Zealand. He was following the route taken by Henry H Travers, with particular interest in wildlife, including various types of penguins, and wandering albatross. No captions were made originally.
Ornithologist Sir Robert Falla, owner of the album, added captions in 1950.
