Trams and shops in Lambton Quay, Wellington, circa 30 April 1905. Shops include the Adelaide Wine Vaults (Preston & Co.) Hotel on the site of the later Midland Hotel and Midland Park, the Wairarapa Farmers Co-operative Association Limited and the A1 Hotel on the site of the later Royal Hotel. Note on back of file print reads: "Showing from left Adelaide Wine Vaults (Preston & Co) Hotel on the site of the present Midland Hotel, the Wairarapa Farmers, and the A1 Hotel on the right on the site of the later Royal Hotel. Electric train outside A1 Hotel."
