Also includes two photographs of Maori women taken ca 1905 by Thomas Pringle, and a photograph of Lake Waikaremoana. These are part of a larger collection comprising working files relating to Simpson's work with the Alexander Turnbull Library, the National Library of New Zealand, the Maori Language Commission, the Dictionary of New Zealand Biography and other organisations, particularly those relating to Te Reo.
