View across the harbour entrance towards the hills including Palmer Head, with the Cuba in rough water
cf Auckland Institute & Museum sketch PS 1 (8) 41, dated July 1839, with similar title: "Cuba" return from Chatham Island. Hurricane off Port Nicholson July 39'. The date should correctly be 1840
Dating: work was originally dated by the Library as 1839. However Heaphy returned from the Chatham Islands in July 1840.
