Description

Album opens with two images of Denniston buildings all of which are houses except for a church. There are some views of the surrounding countryside as seen from the plateau and a view of the roperoad railway with trucks crossing the plateau in winter. Two waterfalls are probably scenic features photographed from the horse track connecting Denniston with the coastal plain.

Other images relate to Christchurch. These include boating on the River Avon, and groups of people photographed standing on two different bridges, one of them in the Botanic Garden. From Wellington there is an image of the Skyline tea kiosk at the top of the Kelburn cable car.

Four images record people on a beach backed by vertical sandstone cliffs beyond which can be seen what looks like gum trees. These images were probably taken somewhere in Australia
