Description

Shows Captain Peter Dillon, Martin Bushart and William Wilson, on top of a small hillock in the left foreground, defending themselves against a group of Fijians. Other members of the ship's party are being killed or cooked near a fire at the extreme right.

According to Dillon's book, the incident took place on 6 September.
