Looking north east, probably from The Terrace, over Wellington buildings and the harbour. A house takes up a large portion of the foreground. In the middle ground are Government Buildings (centre) and the Supreme Court (right of centre). The spire and roof of Old St Pauls can just be seen to the left. Lambton Quay is also visible on the left. Taken circa 1885 by the Burton Brothers.
