Caption - Caption accompanying the negative reads: "Wool from the mountains. (6) And Lawry Walker, the owner of the Manuka Point sheep run, is the most hospitable of men. Over twenty years ago he started work on this run, became a musterer (shepherd), its manager through the depression, and subsequently its owner. He got this place by solid work and by love for the free life which he leads. Here he is ready to ride out on a muster of some sheep. Photo: John Pascoe, New Zealand."
