Description

The journal gives a very full and detailed account of non-stop voyage, including details of how various age groups and sections of the ship's company occupied themselves, programmes of entertainments, observations on birds and fish, and reference to the newly-installed refrigeration system and comments on its innovation. The journal concludes with first impressions of Wellington.
