- Description
Shows a view of the mountain, possibly painted from across Lake Pupuwharau, or one of the nearby lakes, and which features in the foreground. The edge of the lake is covered in raupo, or rushes, and ducks and pukeko can just be seen. A waka or rowboat appears on the water. The mountain appears to have a range of hills or mountains behind it, which may not be accurately represented.
