Description

View taken from the hillside above the township Port Chalmers and looking down at wharves. A number of sailing ships are berthed at the wharves. In the immediate foreground is the second Presbyterian Church built in Port Chalmers in Mount Street and a cemetery. Photograph taken by Herbert Deveril in late 1870s or 1880s.
