Description

German 88mm guns knocked out by NZ batteries in the El Alamein area, Egypt, during World War II. As these guns are of no use to the Allies they are demolished by NZ sappers to render them useless in the event of recapture. Photograph taken on 26 July 1942 by H Paton.
