Fa Class NZR 181 steam locomotive was built at the Avonside Engine Co., Bristol (maker's no. 1084/75), went into service in August 1876, and was written off in March 1931. See "Register of New Zealand Railways steam locomotives, 1863-1971" by W G Lloyd.
