Description

Group of Maori women, children and a man posing together for the photographer. They are standing and sitting on the grass. Behind them is a large tent and other people including a European man. Possibly taken at a Race Day or similar meeting, by William A price in early 1900s. Three of the women and the man are wearing piupiu across their shoulders. The child in the centre is in European dress.
