Description

A naive work, showing a wooden building with a sign "Pass Hotel", (probably Burkes Pass Hotel), a woman feeding hens, a man with a dog, a person at the door of the hotel, a telegraph pole and line, and horses pulling a coach along the road

The topography is exaggerated, if this is Burke Pass.

Attributed to James Preston on stylistic grounds. All of his other known work is in watercolours. He was curate of Burke's Pass, as well as being Vicar of Geraldine
