Watercolour shows a street scene in a mountain village or town, with stone buildings and walls. A small stream tumbles down beside the path at the left, and is crossed by a low stone bridge for access to the doorway at the right. A little further off at the left a woman walks with a donkey. The rocky slopes of the nearby hills are seen in the background.
