Studio portrait of an elderly Rangitupu Take Take sitting cross-legged on a mat in front of a scenic backdrop. He has tooth and ribbon ear drop in his right earlobe, is wearing a korowai and holding a patu. A tewhatewha is lying on the ground beside him. His facial tattooing (moko) is barely visible. A large tumour can be seen above his right elbow. Photograph taken by William Henry Thomas Partington ca 1908, probably at Wanganui.
