Ritson (SA) narrowly beats Masters (NZ) in the finish of the 200 yards race at the New Zealand Artillery versus the South African Artillery Sports held at the Maadi Sports Club ground in Egypt, during World War II. The time was 24 1/6 seconds. Photograph taken on 30 July 1943 by George Frederick Kaye.
