Stained glass window in the Memorial Hall, Wellington College. Taken by an unknown photographer in 1928.
Memorial Hall at Wellington College is now demolished. The Hall was completed and opened on 2 March 1928 when this window was also unveiled. The photo was probably taken at this time. (Information from back of file print)
The memorial stained glass window was designed by an artist (name not known) employed by the firm who made the window. This firm was Kelly & Co of Finsbury, London, who are described in a document from the Wellington College archives as \"an old established firm that had much experience in designing stained glass windows, especially for memorials to men who had fallen in the Great war,\" (Information from Paddianne Neely, archivist, Wellington College).
