View looking along the beach at Cape Foulwind. Shows a large number of people on the beach, a group swimming, a number of women with parasols, and a pillar of rock standing out in the sea at the far end of the beach. Photograph taken circa 1910 by William Price.

The pillar of rock was known as The Giant's tooth. It was damaged in the 1929 Murchison earthquake and blasted down for safety reasons soon after.
