Description

Shows Muldoon and Duncan MacIntyre sitting on top of a pile of letters of 'public support'. Muldoon's comment about the 'great view' refers to his optimism about winning the election later in 1981. Refers to the flood of letters Muldoon received for his government's handling of the industrial disputes in early 1981. On 3 March 1981 Auckland woman, Tania Harris, had organised the 'Kiwis Care' march in Auckland to protest against the continuing industrial disruption which affected the country.

Extended Title - A flood of telegrams and letters supporting the Government's handling of the recent industrial disruption continued to pour into the office of the Prime Minister, Mr Muldoon.
