- Description
The cartoon, in a strip of six frames, features the Cartoonists' Self-Aggrandisement and Drinking Society's monthly meeting. The month's awards are being presented for the best cartoon. All of the finalists' cartoons feature Tukoroirangi Morgan. Includes cameo appearances of cartoonists Tim Bollinger, Anthony Ellison, Malcolm Evans, Malcolm Walker, Chris Slane, Bill Paynter and others taken from self portraits.
The cartoon was not published in the Listener. It was the final strip presented to the Listener before the Listener ceased publishing this strip
Inscriptions: Verso - bottom left - Signed and dated by the cartoonist. Also annotated with title, and the note Unpublished.
