Children in the children's ward of Wellington Hospital. Most of the children are in their beds, but there are some standing on the floor. There are some toys in the middle of the ward, and balloons hanging from the ceiling. There are panels above some of the beds which have excerpts from fairy tales and nursery rhymes on them. Photograph taken by an unidentified photographer for the 'Evening Post' ca Christmas 1928.
