Manuscript sketch of an area bounded by the Waitara River from Pukerangiora to 'Kairau no 1' and Matarikoriko. Shows redoubts numbers 2 to 7, sap from nos 3 to 6, rifle pits along ridges and at Huirangi, some topography and a road or track. Pencil annotations as follows: 'cultivations destroyed by the troops 12 Feb 1861', and at Pukerangiora 'rebels' and 'Arei'
