Photograph taken of Honeyman's Valley, Thorndon (later to become the site of Anderson Park and Lady Norwood Rose Garden). Through the gap in the distance can be see the embarkment of Glenverie Terrace and houses on the ridge south of Ascot Street. Photograph taken by W H W Davis ca 1880s
