Wool being transported by horse-drawn wagons in the Gisborne Region (possibly being taken to Waipiro Bay, from where it would be shipped to Napier). Makarika House can be seen on the far side of the river. Photograph taken by Frederick Ashby Hargeaves, circa 1900.
