Exhibition of art, Auckland Society of Arts, Queen Street, Auckland. Shows various artworks arranged on the walls of the room. Two chairs are facing in opposite directions towards the walls. Taken by an unidentified photographer before 1905, for the Auckland Star.

After 1905 the ASA was housed in a purpose built gallery in Kitchener Street, Auckland, designed by G S Goldsbro (a replica of the Kensington Art School, London). The original drawings for the building (now demolished) are held by Auckland Museum.
