Members of The Amateur Syncopaters dance band with their instruments, circa 1925 to 1930. The group includes five men and a woman seated at a piano. Behind her is a standard lamp with a fringed lamp-shade. Instruments include drums, alto saxophone, piano, violin and banjo. The name of the band is written across the drum face.
