Letter book records letters from Malone to his wife, family members, friends, business colleagues, military commanders and well-wishers. Letters cover the period from 21 Aug 1914 when Malone was based in the Awapuni Camp through to his leaving the Camp on 23 Sep 1914 to entrain to Wellington with the Wellington Infantry Regiment.
