- Description
An arrangement of various ornate texts in a Victorian manner, with a central line drawn illustration of the New Zealand Steam Coffee Mills buildings.
Previously thought to be dated from the early 1900s. However the D Stephenson Coffee and Spice Mills were advertising in newspapers during the early 1870s, and Schmidt Litho was operating 1870-1880s. Wise's directories show that the company was in Wyndham Street in 1875, but no longer there by 1879.
