Prime Minister Peter Fraser and Leader of the Opposition Adam Hamilton with a group of British children sent to New Zealand under the Overseas Reception Scheme. Fraser is at centre top. To his right is Adam Hamilton and to his left is Jean Johnson who is in charge of the children. Taken on board the liner the children arrived on, 27 September 1940.
