Newspaper caption reads: "The days of relying on voluntary workers to provide transport of the Little Sisters of the Assumption as they go about their errands of mercy in the Hutt Valley, are virtually at an end. Now equipped with two power scooters and two push bicycles - all of which have been donated - the Little Sisters will be familiar figures as they ride to the homes of the sick..." Photograph published on 7th April, 1959, in the Eveining Post newspaper. Possibly taken in Petone. Photographer unidentified.
