The cluster of buildings that comprised St John's College, Meadowbank (Purewa), seen from below. It is possible that the drawing is by Bishop Selwyn, rather than Caroline Abraham. The writing is his and there is a similar drawing in his letterbook in Manuscripts and Archives. It may also be a copy of a sketch by John Greenwood
Cf. Lithograph and watercolour of same scene by Mrs Abraham (Nan Kivell 241A and B); college moved in 1846, and Mrs Abraham came to New Zealand in 1850.

Possibly copy of sketch by John Greenwood cf, his diary 29 Aug. 1851 (qMs) - Mrs Abraham borowed this sketch to copy.
