Description

50 views of Wellington harbour. 34 are of the docks showing bales of wool being prepared for loading; merchant and naval ships docked; soldiers preparing for embarkation with supplies and artillery; construction of dockside buildings; cranes in use including the Hikitia etc. The remaining 16 images are of Oriental Bay and various leisure activities around it such as sunbathing, swimming and running. Photographer unidentified.
