View looking across Awaawaroa Bay towards the headland (the site of an old Maori pa). A ferry is tied up at the Awaawaroa Wharf on the headland. Yachts are moored in the bay. A boy with a billy in his hand can be seen in the foreground walking up the hill towards the camera. Photographed by William Archer Price in early 1900s.
